Hi. I'm Julia.
Some things you should know:
I'm 19 (for now... my birthday is October 23), I'm a junior at Boston College, and I will be spending the next few months studying abroad in Parma, Italy.
I am a history major with a linguistics minor. I love both history and language, and both of which are responsible for my decision to study abroad.
Why Italy?
I'm obsessed. My family has friends who live in Bologna, Italy and they are just about the coolest family I've ever met. Carlotta and Nicola have two amazing kids, and all four of them speak better English than I do. So when it came to picking where to study abroad, it was an obvious choice. My hope is that I will be completely immersed in Italian culture and if all goes well, after my five short months abroad, I will have become fluent in the language.
but now I'm bored... perhaps I'll add more to this at a later date.
